People often ask “Dr Y how do you get all the energy and stamina to do all what you do”
My answer is “I believe stamina is 80 percent psychological and 20 percent physiological.”
I think when you do what are you are passionate about you manage to get all the energy and stamina required..
By nature I am a passionate person. I am a people’s person. I love talking to people, getting to know them, guide them and help them.
The philosophy behind the name “transformations with Y” is based on my own life journey/story of transformation. Growing up as a child I had many conflicts in my mind. I was a born artist with interest in arts and philosophy and being raised in Pakistan in a family with very high academic standards which was a blessing for me. My mom strived to give her kids the highest education. She was the biggest women empowerment figure for me who always told us to stand on our own feet. My dad was a fascinating army officer. He always encouraged us used to say “Believe and you shall achieve”
So I pursued the path of medicine and at the same time continued to hone my skills as an artist and calligrapher. I used to be a very shy child and struggled with low self esteem but my life literally transformed as I worked on my mindset and limiting beliefs. I always took challenges and proved them wrong who tried to belittle me. I believe
Arts and beauty is my passion. I judge beauty pageants. I participated in a beauty pageant first time in my life in my 40s and luckily I won in the beauty pageant. I learnt through pageantry that only physical beauty is not enough, it’s how we showcase ourselves in the world, it’s about our inner confidence and inner image.
I am now using my passion in arts to help charitable causes. As a founder of my non profit “calligraphy for charity”I conduct calligraphy workshops, I exhibit my art work to help charitable causes and to promote the art of Islamic calligraphy. and I am using my passion for beauty and arts in my Medspa everyday.
I believe the people you associate with play a big role in your quality of life. I was fortunate enough to be mentored by some great thought leaders. I coauthored a book with Les Brown who is an internationally recognized speaker and author in self development. I also coauthored a book on entrepreneurship with Michael Tracy with a foreword from Brian Tracy, a great personality in leadership and business mastery.
With all these associations with thought leaders I have immensely transformed myself in all aspects of life.
As I realized working in a small town in Ohio as a primary care doctor where opioid abuse was very prevalent, I felt deeply that due to lack of guidance young girls and boys turn into drugs and waste their potential. I developed interest in life coaching. I got my certification in strategic intervention life coaching from Tony Robbins Madanes academy. Tony Robbin’s is a living legend in personal development and business mastery and I have learnt a lot from his teachings and strategies…
Working as a Peace Ambassader, I spread the message of peace in the world. Bc I believe we humans have more similarities than differences and we need to focus on similarities and inclusion rather than segregation and wars..
When I was chosen as a physician coach while working as a primary care doctor in a very large healthcare organization with about 700 employed physicians because of my excellent patient satisfaction. I was asked to visit numerous practices to observe the physicians interaction and communication with their patients in their exam rooms and coach them on their communication skills, I was disheartened to see that most of the physicians were not relating to the patients in a way a physician should. As a physician I feel like it’s our responsibility to make the patient feel at home and comfortable when they visit us in the clinic . I always tell my fellow physicians that you need to relate to your patients as your friends or as your family member. Bc I feel in every relationship we need to have mutual understanding and care.
I do everything with passion, if I am there I give my 100 percent and I think that’s the secret of success.
Now I coach my clients in essentially every aspect of life. I think it’s essential to see a life coach who can guide you, steer you, help you navigate through life, in relationships in the best way bc when we are in a situation we are emotionally invested in, we can’t take right decisions by ourselves bc our emotional bias is there and here we need a guide, a mentor who can look at the situation without bias and give you the right advice…
A life coach is someone who counsels and encourages clients through personal or career challenges. She guide clients to reach their ultimate goals. A life coach can help individuals in different areas of their life.
